Organisational Structure of KWAHO

Board

KWAHO consists of the board as the policy-making organ and the secretariat which, is the implementing arm of the organization. The board consists of 11 members drawn from different sectors of specialization and/or were chosen based on geographical diversities whose interests needs to be represented on the board. The major functions of the board are:

1. Providing Policy guidelines to KWAHO as an organization
2. Approves Plans and organizational budgets
3. Scrutinizes KWAHO periodic and annual reports
4. Is responsible for the appointment of the senior staff of the Organization including the appointment of the Executive Director
5. Approve terms and conditions of service for the staff.
